Shakahari follows the quirky journey of Roshini, a spirited young woman whose family convinces her to hide her love for non-vegetarian food during an arranged marriage meeting. When Roshini marries Niraj, a "vegetarian" by appearance, she steps into a life where secrecy and longing for simple pleasures—like stashing chicken masala in the cupboard—become her new normal. But as fate would have it, Roshini’s white lie is soon uncovered, only to reveal an unexpected twist: Niraj, too, is secretly a non-vegetarian, concealing his tastes to appease family expectations.
